Grunge is one of the most popular photo styles in North America right now. It is huge! If you go to a stock photography website, or just Google Images, you will find loads and loads of grunge photography. These are the photos that have been made to look damaged, tattered, destroyed, all with a specific end-goal and purpose in mind.

Simple designs

This simple photo I created originally as a simple text drawing in Sketchbook Pro for my iPad 2, and then I though, simple text is not that interesting…why not make it different. So I exported that document and brought it into Snapseed for the iPad,  and simply adjusted some settings, dropped on a couple of filters, altered those filters, and voila.

Snapseed is one of the most useful photography apps for the iPad, because it is set up to be used as a professional photography application. Snapseed limits your import and export size to 16 megapixels, but this is still huge compared to almost any other app. Snapseed is put out by Nik software, one of the leading brands in very high quality Photoshop, Lightroom, and Aperture plugins, and they are definitely worth checking out!
